Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust

Ilana can't wait to start her first job in space even though it's caused a rift with her astrophobic family. She expects gravity sickness to be the most of her worries until her first trip on the Lunar shuttle goes horribly wrong.

Gabriel can't wait to get off the planet either. But his shuttle out of Cape Canaveral goes sideways and he ends up adrift in space in a damaged emergency raft - with an alluring stranger and a dead body on board. Not to mention the disturbing cargo they find hidden in the walls.

Rescue isn't far off but the real danger lies in the plot Ilana and Gabriel uncover, thrusting them into the middle of a power struggle between humans, gods, and the devils who would turn the Sol galaxy into dust. Will Ilana and Gabriel's bond be strong enough to save humanity from a new stone age? Or will forces from the beyond tear them apart, dooming the planet with them?

Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 1: Liftoff Ilana set out early to catch her launch that day, mostly to get out of the house but also because she had no hope of sleeping. Not between her mother’s sobbing and the murmured comings and goings of neighbors offering their condolences. As if Ilana had died instead of simply accepting a job in space. Something millions of people had ...
Sci-Fi Romance in Space Bound by Stardust Part 2 Gabriel frowned at the data in his contacts. “Reroute power to the dark matter stabilizers by a factor of three and run the simulation again.” The figures adjusted under his instructions and began their new calculations. Gabriel was annoyed and that annoyed him. Annoyance was a distraction. He’d come Earthside to do some on-planet product testing. Somehow his father had ...
Sci Fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 3 Ilana leaned over the sink and rinsed out her mouth. The shuttle bathroom was spacious and pristine, with individual wash closets that self-cleaned after each user and sounded way fancier than a restroom had any right to be. The bathroom also happened to be the only place in the shuttle cabin without windows. Every time she looked out into space, ...
Sci-Fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 4 Gabriel had never imagined he’d know what it felt like to cave in another person’s head. But when he saw the attendant overpowering the woman he’d just met, he grabbed the nearest blunt object he could find – an oxygen tank – and felled the aggressor to the ground. A blow to the head was the most efficient way to ...
Sci-Fi Romance in Space Bound by Stardust Part 5 Nothing Ilana had done up to that point in her life had prepared her to fly a small spacecraft into the void of space, and yet here she was. Facing the doors to the outside, now closing fast. “Go, go, go!” Exclaimed her partner in crime, or whatever this was they were doing. But her stomach seized up. Her body ...
Sci-Fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 6 Gabriel was glad the woman had the sense to pull away from him when she did. Because all of his sense had clearly left him if he was considering kissing someone he’d just met over the body of a man he’d just killed. Unintentionally killed, but still. He was trying not to think about the attendant and the weight of ...
Sci-Fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 7 Once Gabriel had explained the nature of their situation to the rescue party, Ilana helped coordinate their extraction from inside the bubble. Figuring out the logistics of her own rescue called on every one of her professional skills and then some. The fact that they were exposed to the vacuum of space had complicated the effort. They spoke with Admiral ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 8 Gabriel thrummed his fingers on the arm of his chair, his pose deceptively relaxed under the Admiral’s commanding eye. She was sharp – and interested in Elder tech. Gabriel didn’t blame her. Who wasn’t? Whether you loved or hated the idea, everyone had an opinion about whether extra-species technology had a place in human society. The Admiral hadn’t said as much ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 9 Asya guided Ilana and Gabriel to their rooms, taking them through wide, brightly lit corridors and malls busy with foot and hoverboard traffic. “How many people are on this ship?” Ilana asked. “Between staff, families, diplomats and other civilians, just over five thousand.” Asya gestured towards a plaza as Ilana caught the scent of food. She hadn’t realized how hungry ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 10 Gabriel hadn’t realized the ship’s time had grown late until he’d looked up from their conversation and the rest of the dining hall was empty. Their table looked like a war zone, the boat and carcass picked ragged over the course of a couple of hours. Gabriel had come with an appetite but Ilana had kept pace. They stacked all ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 11 Ilana may have been on her knees but she was driving Gabriel’s world, his body at the mercy of her tongue swirling around his cock. He let out a tortured groan and spread his fingers through the wet hair at the nape of her neck. Ilana enjoyed the pressure as he tightened his grip – encouraging, not overpowering. If anything it ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 12 Gabriel had to call on every ounce of his willpower to lay his arms still as Ilana moved over him, her breasts brushing his chest. Her face was serious as she hovered over him, the humor that normally brightened her eyes shadowed by a new, more focused intent. He could sense the potential between them, chemistry as combustible as it ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 13 Ilana had no idea what the Admiral could still want with her. Shortly after Gabriel had left, she’d gotten a message from Aria asking her to appear on the top deck at her “earliest convenience” – a phrase Ilana could never quite figure out. Did it mean urgently or not? She decided to make it a priority since delaying an ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 14 Gabriel had been haunted by the last look on Ilana’s face during his entire meeting with the Admiral and her science team. He could barely concentrate as he pulled up the crisis pocket specs. The Admiral’s eyes lit up as the team surrounded his work. Ilana had appeared stricken and distraught before scurrying away along the outer edge of the ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 15 Ilana rarely wavered as much as she did that night. On everything. What to wear. How to make up her face and hair. Whether she should splurge on a fabulous little black dress from the replicator. If she should even go. Nearly her entire life – since the first star she saw through her father’s telescope – she’d always had ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 16 Gabriel couldn’t keep his eyes off Ilana. Looking at her was like drinking a long cool glass of water at the end of a long, hot day. He resisted the wild urge to crowd her into a dark corner and slide his hands up that tight little dress until she squirmed against him. He had to clear his throat to ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 17 When Gabriel invited Ilana up to where the Admiral was finishing up dinner with Maisha, she appreciated that he gave her an out. But she wasn’t one to hide because a room made her uncomfortable. She might as well learn more about her potential employer while she was here. So she joined Gabriel up an elevator to the top deck. ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 18 Gabriel was having a hard time reading Ilana. Even after the passionate embrace they’d shared downstairs, she’d become aloof since the group arrived at Maisha’s private quarters. Now, as Maisha led them to her spa, Ilana stood slightly apart. Maisha offered her a private changing room and bathing suit, but Ilana showed no hesitation in joining them in the nude ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 19 Ilana shut the door to her room on Frontier One. She leaned back and closed her eyes, soaking in the afterglow of the last several hours. But first things first. She activated her mailbox from her smart contact’s menu on the inside of her wrist, pulled up the Admiral’s message, and dictated an acceptance to her job offer. She was ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 20 Gabriel stared at the widest crisis pocket he’d engineered yet, a round bubble currently held stable at four points with extra technological rigging. The most elegant piece of tech he’d ever handled, standing only by the grace of rudimentary biotech scaffolding.  The Admiral had requested a larger model for Frontier missions as protection for Alliance citizens and ships. Gabriel and ...
Sci-fi Romance Bound by Stardust Bound by Stardust Part 21 The buzz of Ilana’s drink hit her as she activated her suit’s open space features, leaving her helmet off for last. She could’ve taken an anti-intoxicant to sober up but she had nothing to lose at this point. Might as well try something she hadn’t tried before. She stood with Gabriel next to the airlock at what she assumed was ...
