Thank you Zeina!! These tips have really helped me. I have the same exact hair as you, 2c/3a curls and stylists would always tell me there’s no such thing you should just straighten it or put it up, I never learned how to actually apply products, how often to wash and what to wash with and even correctly use a diffuser until after reading your story, you have truly taught me how to deal with my hair correctly and I love not only the results but also how less stressed I am about my hair now. I’ll give Roots a try, it looks amazing from their website! I’ve loved the Lush body moisturizing bars I’ve tried so far.

Great tips and recommendations on here, thank you! I’m a hair stylist with 2c/3a hair similar to yours and am doing my best to learn as much as possible from loads of resources so I can become a ‘curl expert’ in my salon, I have tried sooooooo many products!! I have to say that one of my favourites is Roots by lush, it’s gorgeous, and leaves my hair feeling soft but not weighed down, it contains mint so leaves your scalp feeling lovely! I am testing out their avacado shampoo bar too at the moment, and so far so good! Olaplex No.3 is a firm favourite also!!
